I wanted to share Closer with everyone. I have had the opportunity to see Warren Barfield sing live several times and he is definitely someone that you should check out. I enjoy all of his music. This song is from the album Reach. Many of you may know of Warren because of his song Love Is Not a Fight from the movie Fireproof. You can listen to Closer here:

For those of you who are American Idol fans, you probably remember Carly Smithson from Season 7. Carly is now with a band, We Are The Fallen, and they have released their first single on iTunes. The band members are former Evanescence members. Carly actually sounds very similar to Amy Lee on this song. You be the judge. It is called Bury Me Alive.

Danny Gokey makes his debut after American Idol with his single My Best Days Are Ahead of Me. To be honest, I was skeptical about Danny Gokey going with the country genre but it seems to be working so far. I’ll let you guys know what I think of the album when it is released.
