I’ll be the first to admit that I am not a Miley Cyrus fan. However, I feel like Miley really stepped it up with this new song, When I Look At You. She actually does a wonderful job. It is a change of pace from her Party In the U.S.A. style. The song is featured in the new motion picture, The Last Song. I saw the movie last night (Look for a review soon). So I wanted to share this as the Song of the Week. You can listen to it here: Tags: Song of the Week, The Last Song The Song of the Week is Hello World by Lady Antebellum. I’m a big fan of the entire album, Need You Now, so it is hard to pick just one song. However, I’ve managed to do so. Enjoy! What do you guys think? Tags: Lady Antebellum, Song of the Week
The Song of the Week is Terrified by Kara DioGuardi and Jason Reeves. Watch Kara and Jason sing it below: It starts at 1:48. I am slowly becoming a Kara DioGuardi fan. She definitely has talent. I was not completely convinced when she joined American Idol but now I can see why she deserves to be part of the judging panel! She is a great singer and a fantastic writer. The song was performed by Didi Benami on American Idol last week:

I’m listening to his album, Now Or Never, as I write this article. Let me tell you, this guy is awesome. Make sure you check out his music. You can find his albums on iTunes HERE. … Steve did a few cover songs tonight but it was really cool to hear his original music. While his style is very unique, you can hear a little John Mayer influence from time to time. On his song, Do Something, you will even get a little of a Jason Mraz feel. Do Something was one of my favorites so it will be featured as the Song of the Week. Make sure you listen to You and Me and X-ray Eyes too! The show was great and I will definitely be keeping up with his music and future concerts. So why are you guys still reading? Go check out his music! *Free Stuff* *Update* All downloads have been claimed. Check back often for more giveaways! I will gift a song of choice from Steve Means’ collection on iTunes to the first five people who ask for a song. Just let me know what song you want and it will be purchased and sent to you. I’ll let you know when they are all gone. Tags: Song of the Week, Steve Means
Listen to it here: A cover of this song by Katie Stevens was also mentioned this week. Katie is one of the contestants on American Idol Season 9 that is “going to Hollywood!” Tags: OneRepublic, Song of the Week
“Living doesn’t come first try. It takes a lifetime getting it right. It takes a lifetime to learn how to sing… to find my place in the world symphony…” You can find the song on iTunes HERE.
